Authentic Assessment Using Digital Tools

Teachers can assess their students by having the students create digital products to demonstrate what they know and understand about a curricular topic. Objectives: Participants will understand we must always keep in mind that our goal should not be proficiency in the use of the app or program … it, instead, should be the mastery of the learning objectives. Participants will understand students’ digital products must demonstrate what they know and understand about the topic, even having them go beyond the existing facts and create new material. Participants will be learn a number of ways for students to create products. They will also have on-going access to a "Live"binder  which includes examples and tutorials.
