Determining what students know prior to classroom teaching with an activation strategy and helping them synthesize and retain what they have learned via a summarizer strategy is an important part of informing instruction. This presentation will help you develop ways to use common activators and summarizers via iPad/Android apps and tools, as well as presenting some new strategies that take advantage of the power of these mobile devices.. Each presented strategy will be mapped to a SAMR level to help you learn more about the SAMR pedagogical structure, too.
