Lea Anne Daughrity is a specialist in the area of 1:1 devices in education. She led one of the first large-scale iPad rollouts in the state of Texas and has shared her knowledge and understanding in venues around the state and across the country. She believes that handheld devices are a tool that can enhance learning and can empower the end user. She shares with local scouting groups in her community about the importance of their digital footprints and how kids can learn to use technology for the good of everyone. Her favorite topic though is her love of reading and writing through digital media. For the last year, she took learning beyond the classroom walls and shared her love of knowledge as a homeschool teacher. Although she would love to do that forever, Lea Anne will be back in formal education next year as a 1:1 consultant for a local private school in her area.
