Nancy Sharoff

I grew up an Army brat (and proud of it!) in Germany. I dabbled in various master's programs trying to make up my mind as to what I wanted to be when I 'grew up'. I received my Master in Science in Teaching from Pace University, I hold a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from NYIT and my Administrative Certification from The College of Saint Rose. I've been teaching for the past 20+ years (2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th/6th grade math, Elementary Technology Facilitator, and I am currently a 'Teacher on Special Assignment' in charge of all the online assessment, data analysis, and providing professional development to the staff on using data to inform instruction). I've developed and taught numerous courses in the areas of Children's Literature, Mathematics, Educational Technology and Cyberbullying. I've also presented (and continue to present) on Educational Technology topics to a variety of audiences at the state, national, and virtual levels. I'm a Google Certified Teacher, a LiveScribe Ambassador, a Discovery Education Network (DEN) STAR Educator, and am one of the DEN Gurus.
